It’s been a sad day today as we farewell Coach Monz 💪☹️

Dedicated, hardworking, and passionate — you’ve pushed us to be our best every single session.
We’ll miss your energy, drive, and encouragement, but we’re so proud and excited for you🫶🏻

Us coaches will miss having such a epic team member apart of us but you will always be welcome at Ōtāhuhu & you’re only down the road at Mt Welly💯🙏🏽

🗓 Conditioning Test – 16th August (NO NORMAL CLASS ON THAT DAY) but we encourage EVERYONE to attend!

Happy 2nd Birthday, BFT Ōtāhuhu!

From day one, we’ve been on a mission to help our people in South Auckland get into fitness and improve their health, burn bodyfat and build strength, and truly, change their lives: what a journey it’s been! 💙

💪 Over the past two years, we have:

Run many successful eight‑week challenges, pushing our community to smash goals—from building strength to burning body fat

Helped our members lose a combined 1,000 kgs (and counting!)

Brought home two Inter‑Club BFT Sports Day victories 🏆

Supported a fantastic member turnout at Hyrox Auckland, led by superstar coaches Quinn, Kyra & Mons

Survived six mysterious roof leaks

Destroyed four ceiling tiles with epic wall‑ball wins 🎯

A massive thank you to our past & present coaches, every single member who’s ever trained with us, our supporters & sponsors (including all the South Auckland BFT studios and the Otāhuhu Business Association), and, of course—our dream team Quinn, Kyra, Mons, Hannah & Tai (plus some awesome guest coaches who have helped too).

🎀💪 MONICA. MONZ. THE FEMALE HULKY. SHE CAME TO SLAY. 💥✨

Turf Wars will never be the same after what Coach Monica delivered today. PBs? Crushed. Final cardio? DOMINATED. Her strength, stamina, and spirit lit up the entire arena. Every move screamed dedication, grit, and pure athletic brilliance.

It was an absolute privilege to witness her in full flight. With Coach Glammy leading as head ref, the vibes were immaculate and the energy electric. But Monica made the turf her own—a true queen of the battleground.

👏 Congratulations, Monz. You gave us a performance that will echo through every sweat-soaked corner of that gym for weeks to come. Your hustle is unmatched, your heart is massive, and your glow-up today? Legendary. We are so proud of you!

Our final set of awards go to the Most Impressive Male and Female Transformations and the Most Kilos Lost.These three absolutely crushed it, and honestly, everyone in the challenge had such amazing results that it was incredibly tough to narrow it down! 🔥

First up, we have Tarn! A true beast, hard worker, incredible motivator, and a strong wahine toa. She’s been giving it her all and even took out her bodybuilding competition over the weekend—what an achievement!

Next, we have Dan—the silent achiever. He’s a man of few words but a powerhouse of dedication. Shy by nature but relentless in his effort, his results speak volumes. We’re so proud of you, Dan!

And last but certainly not least, for Most Kilos Lost —losing an impressive 13.5kg, we have Isi!!! A hardworking guy who stuck to the plan and let the results do the talking. Huge congratulations, brother!

We can’t wait for the next one & to see the new year come through & our beautiful members smash some more goals💯💪

A big thank you to our incredible prize sponsors for the night—you guys rock, we truly appreciate you!

Also, a massive kudos to the entire studio collective. The results speak for themselves—**losing 210.5kg of body fat** and **gaining 50.3kg of skeletal muscle** overall is just the beginning of something truly amazing! This is a huge step up from where we were last time, and we’re just getting started. 🔥👏🏼

Let’s keep pushing, keep growing, and keep achieving. The journey has only just begun!

Gabe was a new addition to our studio for this challenge, and even spent half of it overseas, yet he still gave 100% effort the whole way through. His dedication, focus, and positive energy have made such an impact in the gym. Huge congratulations, G! We’re incredibly proud of you!
