Auckland Ballet Academy is looking for experienced, passionate, and inspirational full-time or part-time dance instructors to join our teaching team (based in Auckland). 1) RAD registered teachers with experience and knowledge of the RAD syllabus preferred. 2) Contemporary dance instructor 3) Street dance instructor (Hip Hop/Reggaeton/Jazz). Classes will include preparing students for exams, choreographing and teaching show dances, and working with competition students. All syllabus resources will be provided and training where needed. Skills and experience working with students of different age groups (both children and adults) and parents is a bonus point. Hourly rate dependent on qualifications and experience. We are looking for someone who is keen to be a part of our Ballet academy family. Must be able to commit to at least the end of the dance year (Saturday 10th December) with opportunities to continue teaching in 2023 and beyond.
The successful candidates shall essentially have a friendly, flexible, positive, and inspiring approach to lessons, rehearsals, and performances. In return, we offer full admin support, opportunities to choreograph and teach competition/performance dances, as well as competitive pay rates based on your skills and experience.
