In case you missed it… 🏆

Your 2026 Savea-Fai Cup | LSC Saint of Origin winners: 🔴

But this was more than a game.

It was brothers reuniting.
Brothers versing.
Brothers coming together.

And most importantly, brothers sharing a message bigger than the game itself, the game of life.

Life Jackets Save Lives. 🛟

From 9 October 2026, a new nationwide law will require everyone on board recreational vessels 6 metres and under to wear a properly fitted lifejacket while the vessel is underway.

Just like on the field or in a car, safety matters. It should be no different when we’re on the water.

Playing our part for water safety. 🌊❤️

As part of the Saint of Origin | Savea-Fai Cup, we want to play our part in making sure our community is aware of how we can stay safe in and around the water.

Our communities are among those most impacted by water-related incidents. In memory of Tai Savea and Sonny Fai, and in partnership with Water Safety New Zealand , Coastguard New Zealand and Surf Life Saving New Zealand , we present the Saint of Origin Water Safety Tips.

➡️ Know how to float
➡️ Find the safest place
➡️ Know how to get help
➡️ If in doubt, stay out
➡️ Take care of yourself and others

Our hope is that these videos and simple tips will help start conversations, raise awareness and encourage our families and communities to make water safety a priority.
