Auckland Seido Karate Club

Auckland Seido Karate Club Auckland Seido Karate Club is a full-time karate dojo with over 20 different classes per week. Karate is not about who can kick the highest or win a fight.

Our goal is to help students achieve more for themselves by building confidence, self-discipline, physical fitness and camaraderie in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Instead Karate encourages individuals to strive to do their best and to challenge beyond their own perceived limitations. Seido Karate is structured and supervised to ensure that students are training in a safe and constructive

environment. Seido Karate was founded in 1976 by Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura (a 9th degree black belt). Nakamura started the World Seido Karate Organisation to develop individuals to improving themselves and the world around them. Seido (which translates to ‘sincere way’) focuses on the principles of love, respect and obedience. Seido Karate has been operating in the Auckland region for over 20 years with clubs in Devonport and Morningside.
