Located in the Royal Oak area, Forge BJJ has doors that are open to one and all.

Auckland Forge BJJ has been set up with three core values:
Growth, Strength and Resilience. We are a proud Will Machado affiliate, led by John Will and Rigan Machado. We have set up our club with the aim of making Brazilian Jiu Jitsu accessible to as many people as we can. We work with

youth trusts and low decile schools to focus on bringing the sport to those who would not have the opportunity to try a martial art. Corey and Melissa have taught children and adults , and have worked extensively on developing their coaching approach to bring out the best in their students.
“Jiu Jitsu teaches you so much, and is invaluable in building self-esteem”. Corey has experience teaching adults classes with a focus on concept teaching to bring techniques together on the mat.
“Jiu Jitsu is about testing yourself, learning and growing”. We strive to bring our club members together as a team, each member helping each other to grow and gain resilience and strength of body and character. Forge – our name says it all to build something strong, enduring and successful.
