🏏 Fielding questions such as, who’s winning? How much longer? And can I bat with John?
🏏 Hauling us out of the trees when it’s our turn to bat.
🏏 Your patience, passion for the game, enthusiasm and knowledge.
🏏 Putting up with a sore back after countless hours of standing still.
🏏 A fist bump or high five when we did well.
🏏 Dealing with sore fingers, bruised ego’s and tying our shoelaces.
🏏 Maintaining a straight face during our lbw appeals and sledges.
🏏 Giving up your time.
🏏 Delivering your umpire calls professionally with confidence and clarity.
🏏 Transporting and carrying the team gear bag.
🏏 Not telling us off when we giggle cos you lost your jandal and tripped trying to move into position for the all important run out call.
🏏 For helping us be the best cricketing version of ourselves we could be.
