Great results for the team in Wellington......
William Exton repeats his form from SI title in Goldstar Rd One, with a hard earned first place, in both championship, and GP
Jordan McDonnell met some tough competition from current 2NZ and previous Goldstar winner Zac Zaloum. Jordan set the early pace with a win in first heat, the next two went Zac, and the 4th heat was Jordans. After a tally of points, and equal going into the final, it was winner takes all, and the young BRM Heavy driver took it out from the start. The Senior Rotax all in GP was tough, with Jordan starting from grid 22, in a field mixed with lights, and only 4 Rotax Heavies taking on the Lights, but Jordan found great pace, and finished up first Heavy driver home, and 9th overall.
Lee Zeltwanger debut his new BRM WK1 30mm chassis, and was on the pace from the time the kart hit the track. In the class for the first time Lee was up against some stiff competition with this years Rotax Max Challenge winner, and National School winner Dylan Drysdale, and Jacob Cranston showing pace. Lee finished up the weekend with a very commendable 3rd place overall....well done Lee.
Josh Bethune struggled all weekend with some engine issues, and probably had a weekend he wants to forget. However the boy are determined to find the issue and sort it for the next round.
