💚💛 Respect goes a long way 💚💛

With the netball season now in full swing, we wanted to take this opportunity to issue a reminder to our wider netball community — players, whānau and supporters - that everyone deserves to be treated with respect while they're at netball.

Netball should be a safe, positive and fun environment for our young people. There is no place for verbal abuse — on the court, on the sideline, or anywhere in the stadium.

Please be kind, follow requests from venue staff, and help keep spaces welcoming and accessible for all. If you see poor behaviour, speak up or let a duty manager know.

Let’s all do our part to keep netball positive and supportive for everyone 🫶

🥰The HAMPSTEAD NETBALL GIRLS were lucky enough today to train with some of the
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY RAMS PREMIER 1 NETBALL TEAM!!🥰

😍This session was for all keen young netballers who wish to have fun, grow their skills and enjoy game based activities. 🏐🥇

🎉A specialist shooting session was also available after the session to improve those shots!!🎉

😃WELL DONE GIRLS!!!

💛💚Saturday netball starts tomorrow!
Here's some important reminders for our Saturday teams:

⏰ All teams need someone at the bench to score/time
💍 No jewellery! This includes taped jewellery!
👐 Cut your nails!
🤸‍♀️ Warm up well - this reduces your chance of injury!
🫶 Respect the umpires - ALWAYS!
📣 If you’re an umpire, check the draw to make sure you know if/when you are umpiring, and ensure you report to the netball desk 10 minutes before your game time if you're umpiring.
📱 All scoring is done via the My Netball Manager app. Make sure your club has given you your team access code and you arrive with the app downloaded and your team locked in ready to go.
👭Y7-8 and senior youth teams, when you make a substitution, please record this in the app at the time it's made (if it's during a quarter, do this before you end the quarter). Y5-6 teams only need to submit their team and their score.

💛1-1.45pm = Jnr A/B,
💙1.45-2.30pm = U18Dev/U17/U16,
💛2.30-3pm = Prem A/B,
💙3-3.45pm =Soc A/Gold/Blue

If for any reason you cannot make it at your time, you can ask someone to collect on your behalf. But you will need to have paid the the bond BEFORE they can take it.

There will be eftpos available – but you may also pay with cash on the day.

Our players will also have the option of purchasing club Hoodies – They will cost $50 and can be ordered by making payment at the uniform handout day

This workshop - led by our umpire co-ordinator Molly and our awesome team of umpire coaches - will teach you the basics and give you the skills and confidence you need to pick up a whistle in a few weeks.

Remember all umpires need to be in at least Year 8 to umpire 🤗

You don’t need to attend both sessions, but can do if you want to!
