📣 WAIPARA VALLEY TRAIL 📣

Thanks to the generosity of local families, business, and the wider community, the Hurunui Trails Trust is close to raising the total funds needed to complete the Waipara Valley Trail.

The 7km loop for walkers and cyclists requires a bridge to be built over Omihi Creek in order to avoid SH1.

Thanks to the dedication of a small fundraising team, a whooping $175,000 has been secured. 🙌

For the bridge to be completed ahead of Summer for local community and visitors to enjoy, a further $80,000 is required.

Great to see this historic pub open again just in time for the summer. On the Hurunui Heartland Cycle Way it is worthy a stop to give the legs a break, rehydrate and refuel!

The Hurunui Hotel has been serving our guests since 1868. Recently renovated, the bar and restaurant features a great range of food and drinks for you to enjoy.
