Dunstan Equestrian Centre Dunstan Equestrian Centre (DEC) an equine facility offering grazing, riding areas, clinic hostings, have a go days etc.

We have associated clubs such as RDA Alexandra, Clyde Pony Club, Dunstan Adult Riding Club and welcome all to come along and enjoy! We are a small friendly equestrian facility operating in Clyde Central Otago. We have grazing facilities and also general riding areas. We currently have two other clubs affiliated to our centre, Clyde Pony Club and Dunstan Adult Riding Club. Both of these clubs hold

regular rallies and events at the centre throughout the year. We offer our members a great facility and also the opportunity to have access to our all weather areana for a very cost effective price of $125 per rider per year. Please contact our Secretary for all enquiries and a full price list for all other fees etc.

Huge thank you to all of our lovely riders & helpers for attending today's Show Jumping Practice Day!

It was a fun day had by all, with a great turnout of riders jumping from 45cm to 1.5m!

We had a brillant team of helpers today too which made it a great event to run with lots of laughs.

Hi everyone, for those who have not heard there is a Express Training event on at the COPC course in Cromwell next Saturday. Entries are still open and there are still a few spaces left. Heights are 65cm, 80cm and 95cm. Email [email protected] for further information and an entry form if you are keen. It will be a fun low key day!!!

Hi all, due to the incredibly wet conditions making the grounds at DEC too slippery for parking and warming up it is necessary to cancel our More Bang For Your Buck Jumping day on Sunday July 16.

DUNSTAN EQUESTRIAN CENTRE invites you to it’s –
MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK CLEAR ROUND JUMPING DAY
WHERE: Dunstan Equestrian Centre
WHEN: Sunday 16 July
STARTING: 11 am (Please check DEC page at 8am for start time confirmation if frosty)
Office opens at 9.45am
COSTS: $5 Ground fee, $5 per jumping round and pole round $4
ATTIRE: Safe causal with heeled boots and an approved hard hat
HEIGHTS: Poles, 20 – 40cm, 50cm, 60cm etc up to 1m (More heights will be offered if necessary)
You may ride 4 rounds of the height/heights you choose
HOW DOES IT WORK: The course is made up of 3 parts. Jumps 1 – 5 are clear round jumping at your selected height, jumps 6 – 10 are an accumulator with each jump being a little bit higher or wider than the one before, jumps 11 – 13 are round the ring fences/hunter type placed around the perimeter of the arena. You go through the start flags and carry on around the numbered course as usual finishing with the finish flags.
You may pull out of the accumulator at any stage and carry on to the round the ring /hunter fences which are set at your chosen height.
PARKING: On the track and to the left please
Please clean up around your float
