Well done Kim Tilly and Tom Malcolm today in the Mixed Pairs winning both games today. Sadly, they have failed to qualify after being defeated yesterday in both games. Only five teams out of the 23 teams entered have qualified. Semi finals and finals will be screened on live Sky Sport 6 and You Tube from 11.15am.

Bowls Central Otago is excited to welcome novice bowlers from right across our region to our new Novice Programme.

Maybe you’ve discovered bowls through Twilight Bowls, Trade Bowls, school programmes, family or friends — or you’ve simply picked up a bowl and thought, “I’d like to learn more!”

👉 You don’t necessarily need to belong to a club.
👉 You don’t need to be an experienced bowler.
👉 You just need to be keen to learn and have some fun!

This is your chance to learn the basics, develop your skills, build confidence and meet other new bowlers — all in a relaxed and friendly environment. 🌿

So if you’re a new or novice bowler, this programme is for YOU!

Our very best wishes to Kim Tilly and Tom Malcolm (Wanaka) competing in the Champion of Champions Mixed Pairs hosted at the Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club on 4th to 6th of September. Their first game is at 8.30am on Friday 4th. Good Luck and Go Well from all of us.

Sadly our Queenstown womens triples have been knocked out in the quarter finals today by Carlton Cornwall Bowls. Hats off to you ladies for getting so far.

Congratulations our Queenstown women's triples. Through to the quarter finals on 3 wins and no losses. All the best for tomorrow ladies. There will be a big shout out on facebook and by email tomorrow should you get on television and / or in the medals. Go well.
