The quiet on the hill as you take in every detail of the grass, gullies, shadows and movement. Your breath rising in the cold air.

Every part of what we do as part of our Learn to Hunt experience has been built and considered with intention, with what we know works but also with what our past students have taught us.

We want you to come on our experiences and feel something new, that you haven’t felt in awhile because after all it’s your space, your time and your investment in yourself.

So I first posted this as a story but actually I think it’s a story worthy of a post, even if it is super long.

One because you get to know who would be guiding you but also simply because it shows exactly what it’s like getting on the hill with us.

Every single step of the way we are explaining, teaching, showing why we are doing what we are doing and allowing you to have a go, ask questions and tell us what you think you would do.

While the first day of our Learn to Hunt is a bit more “classroom/range” based or what I would call “artificial environment”. The rest is just like this, up on the hill, spotting, stalking, talking about environment and hanging out talking all things hunting. As you can see we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are super passionate about hunting, that’s our expertise and we still get super excited by what some would call a “basic meat hunt”.

Our Learn to Hunt covers everything because we want you to go away confident knowing you can shoot the calibre r***e you would take hunting, that you can spot animals, that you can gut and butcher an animal on the hill or carry it home. There’s no missing basic piece. You’ve done it all and you did it yourself, for yourself!

We have our ladies only learn to hunt coming up 19-20 September and we just had 2 spots left.

The most important thing we want to teach you is how a hunt should feel.

This is why we offer the full hunting experience from first handling fi****ms in a teaching environment right through to spotting, stalking and taking your animal.

While there are aspects of hunting that are challenging and uncomfortable, you should never feel rushed, unsafe or like you don’t know what you’re doing.

Which is why it is so important to us to give you a very positive experience so you can head into your hunting journey comfortable and confident about how the experience should feel and then feel able to say no or push back if something doesn’t feel right.

We hear too many stories about people’s hunting journeys being confusing or uncomfortable or just lacking in teaching so that’s what we are aiming to eliminate.

The more confident women we have on the hills chasing great adventures, the better!

Our Learn to Hunts are tried and true, they are aimed to bring you confidence, education, friendships and honestly just the feeling of “Holy smokes, I really can do anything”.
