NORTHLAND KAURI vs OTAGO SPIRIT

A special one for our whānau and community! It’s our first ever time hosting an FPC game here at Te Rarawa Rugby Club. What a privilege and a special occasion for our club, community and our ladies who have been putting in the mahi and representing the Kauri for years 🙌🏽

We’d love to see our community, whānau and friends come along and get behind the ladies as they take on Otago Spirit this Saturday.

FPC szn kicks off next weekend vs Tasman. Then September the 5th we’ll be hosting there game vs Otago, in Ahipara!

This is more than a team. More than a game. More than rugby.

Outside of the field, these wāhine carry so much. They are mothers, daughters, sisters, aunties, partners, leaders and carers within their whānau and communities.

For a few hours each week, we come together for something bigger than ourselves while showing the next generation what strength, resilience and sisterhood looks like.

We also want to acknowledge the people who hold it down at home, because without them, none of this would be possible.

We’re not a team with much in the bank, but somehow we always find a way. No matter the challenges, the setbacks or the roadblocks put in front of us, we persevere.

This is why we keep coming back.
