Due to the current weather warnings and in the interest of player safety, particularly for those travelling from rural areas, tonight’s match has been postponed.

The game will now be played on SUNDAY 7th - 1PM

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyone’s understanding. The safety and wellbeing of our players,
supporters, and wider rugby whānau comes first.

ROUND 8 | NORTHLAND WOMEN’S PREMIERSHIP

We’re back this Friday night as we kick off the second round of the competition against Kaikohe under the lights.

These matches are always physical battles, and we know it’ll take a full 80-minute effort to meet the challenge. After a short break, the ladies are refreshed, ready to go, and excited to get back out there.

Friday night footy is always something special, and opportunities like this don’t come around often. We can’t wait to see you all there!

Another blazing game right from kickoff today 🔥

Horahora came out firing and brought the physicality from the first whistle, but our girls stayed locked into the job and kept turning up for each other right through the 80. Most of the wāhine played the full game, digging deep and going to those dark places when needed, but getting the mahi done.

Massive respect to Horahora for making the trip up north and bringing the challenge they always do 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

A huge battle for our wāhine today against Hikurangi 🔥 Physical, tough and hard fought right across the park. Even with the final score, Hikurangi challenged us in every area and made us work for everything.
We were a little slow out the gates, but the girls quickly regrouped, got back to our systems and started playing the kind of footy we know we can. Proud of the way everyone dug deep and stayed composed under pressure 🤝🏽
Big mihi to everyone who came down and supported our first home game of the season, we heard you all and your presence was definitely felt, we run it back with another home game next Sunday against horahora and hope to see you all again🔥

Our FIRST HOME GAME of the season is finally here, and our wāhine are excited to run out in front of our whānau and supporters this Sunday 17th May.

We’ll be taking on the Hikurangi wāhine at 1PM, after coming off a bye week the ladies are refreshed and fizzing to be back on the field doing what we love.
