विजया दशमीको दिन भगवतिले दानवी शक्तिमाथी र रामले रावनमाथि विजय हासिल गरेको उपलक्ष्य र खुसीयालीमा नवदुर्गा भवानीको प्रसाद स्वरुप रातो टिका र जमरा लगाउने चलन छ ।
भनिन्छ कि भगवान् रामले यसै दिन रावणको वध गरेका थिए।यसलाई असत्य माथि सत्यको विजयको रूपमा लिईन्छ।यसकारण, दशमीलाई, "विजया दशमी" भनिएको हो ।

हामी नेपालीहरुको महान चाड बडादशैंको पहिलो दिन घटस्थापना हो ।
आज विधिपूर्वक दियो, कलश र गणेशको पूजासहित माटाको कलश स्थापना गरिन्छ र देवी भगवतीलाई खुसी पार्न जमरा उमार्ने गरिन्छ । जलपूर्ण घडा (कलश) स्थापना गरी त्यसको वरिपरि नौ देवीको स्वरूपको प्रतिमूर्ति तयार गरी गाईको गोबरले देवीहरुका वेदीलाई लेपन गरिन्छ र घडाको वरिपरि जौको बिज रोपिन्छ ।

देवी भवानीको आशिष सबै माथि रहोस्। दशैंको स्वागत गर्दै घटस्थापनाको सबैलाई शुभकामना !
