World cup qualifier will be played in United Arab Emirates in 2013 October where sixteen teams will play against each other to be selected in top six and qualify for World Cup T20 in Bangladesh.

Nepal will first play first ACC Twenty20 Cup which will be held in Nepal where 10 teams will play each other and top four i.e. Semifinalist teams will qualify for ICC Twenty20 World Cup Qualifier in UAE, from which six teams will qualify for Twenty20 World Cup in Bangladesh 2014. The chances of Nepal to qualify for Twenty20 World Cup is high as Nepal has finished in 7th position in prevision edition of Tweanty20 World Cup Qualifier from where just two teams qualify for the Twenty20 World Cup in Srilanka 2012 but in 2014 there will be sixteen teams and six teams will be selected from Twenty20 Qualifier.

Hence, equation for Nepal is very simple as first they have to finish top four at ACC Twenty20 Cup which will be held in our own country and qualify for Twenty20 World Cup Qualifier in UAE and finish in top six in this tournament to qualify for Twenty20 World Cup in Bangladesh. Road to T20 world cup is difficult but not impossible but the question is can our team perform at high level with tough teams in pressure situation ? Hope our teams existing form continue and qualify for Twenty20 World Cup in Bangladesh in 2014.
