Travel Corporation Nepal

Travel Corporation Nepal We organise Trekking, Tours and Volunteering in Nepal, India, Tibet and Bhutan Travel Corporation Nepal Pvt. Ltd.

is a well-known government authorised trekking company in Nepal, established in 2014 and consists of mainly local english and german speaking Tour Guides with many years experience in organizing and accompaniing Tours and Trekkings in Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet and Volunteering in Nepal. Our claims:
With our Tours we want to show our guest as much as possible of the countryside, culture and people an

d reduce possible prejudices on both sides. We try to show them the reality and the life-style of the country as precise as possible and sometimes after doing one of our trips they see things from a different angle. They get sympathy for this different kind of lifestyle and see their own in a different way. In organizing such trips to other cultures and outlying regions consists a lot of responsibility for us. For us, a Trip is not only to transport our guests from A to B or to organize their stay. We also give a certain percentage of profits to the society, for example support orphans and poor children and pay them the money for school. The founder of this Organization established also 2 orphanages, one in Sundarijal and one in the Manaslu Region. We also offer Volunteering in our Orphanages as well in other well-known projects. By Volunteering you can live few weeks in our projects and help there. Why we are specialists in organizing Trekkings and Tours:
Many of our guides are born in the Khumbu (Everest) Region, Manaslu Region and other famous trekking regions in Nepal. They know the country better than anybody else and provide you a safe and memorable experience. They know everything about customs, culture, religion and every little path in their home region and bring you together with other locals who can show you even more of their traditions and provide you experiences and insights you would not get without them. And in order that the guides have also knowledge and understanding for the culture and lifestyle of our guest, we pay them education and further training, so that they can speak and guide our tours in different languages. Some of them have been to Austria, learned something there and in return some guides of Austria came to Nepal and accompaniied us with our groups. We love our countries and we love to go trekking in the beautiful nature and we want you to experience the same. The goal is your satisfaction and we try best until you are totally happy with your trip.

One year ago was the first big earthquake in Nepal. Even though in most parts of Nepal everything looks quite normal ag*in, there are still people who suffer from it because they lost their homes or loved people. We wish everbody a lot of energy to get through it, not only the people in Nepal, but also the people in Japan or Ecuador who are affected by earthquakes.

G*i Jatra Festival - Bhaktapur

G*i Jatra, the festival of cows, (g*i means cow and jatra means festival in Nepali) is celebrated today in Nepal. Mainly the Newar and Tharu community celebrate it.
The festival commemorates the death of people during the year. During the festival, cows are marched in the streets. People also distribute food to others. The festival of cows is one of the most popular festivals of Nepal.
Here are pictures of it in Bhaktapur today.

You can see some pictures of the Durbar Square in Bhaktapur as well. One of the temples is destroyed, all other temples there are still standing.

Here you can see some impressions of the orphanage in Sundarijal. It has been established in 2009 and is our most developed project. The kids have many facilities there like dancing class, taekwondo lessons, coffee roasting facility... In addition the Bottle House produces paper which we can sell that they can g*in money themselves. The house has been totally built with bottles, which have been lying on the trekking trails. They have been transported to Sundarijal and we made the houses with them. During the earthquake in April 2015 the houses have been partial destroyed, but we have been able to rebuild them, little bit less nice than before. Now we are paning to expand the orphanage and build a school near to it. The school will be available for every child, no matter if rich or poor, but the standard of the school will be like a private school, with many facilities like computers and other technical things as well. in addtion we will offer apprenticeships there where for example the boys can learn some technical things like repairing things and the girls can learn how to stitch. Not everybody can get so good results at school, but if they know how to produce handicrafts etc., they will have the chance for a future job as well.
If you want you can volunteer here; help with cooking, help with homework, teach them how to play guitar, etc.

Rebuilding work in the district Nuwakot which was totally destroyed by the earthquake

Here you can see some pictures of our volunteering work in Sikre, which is located in the district Nuwakot about 5 hours far from Kathmandu. During the earthquakes in Nepal many houses have been destroyed, especially in the villages. With donations we got, we are building some houses for people now, who can't afford it themselves and are also rebuilding the school in the small village Gurgaon in Sikre.
Right now we need many volunteers to help there.
The People in the village and ist surroundings are very happy about the work there. We also plan to support this school further. The children and also the teacher speak only very few english, so we plan to send volunteers there who can teach them and also pay better educated staff who can teach. Learning english is very important for them. They have the chance to get a good job, especially in the tourism sector and are more independent then.

NEPAL NEEDS YOUR HELP!
PLEASE HELP AS VOLUNTEER!

We don't take administrative costs!!
One day costs 15€/17$ included food and accommodation.
You can pay everything directly to the people in Nepal.

During the earthquakes many people died and many houses have been destroyed. With your work you help especially in villages which are totally damaged. Together with local people you help with building accommodations, where the people can sleep and protect themselves from wind and rain. You will also help to transport clothes, food and other necessary things to the villages.
Where you help exactly we will decide together in Nepal, because then we can see, where help is needed the most.

One focus will be the reconstruction of the school in the village Swaragaun in Gorkha. The whole village was destroyed by the earthquake and all people will benefit from the rebuilding.

You can start from tomorrow!

Mt. Everest: highest mountain on earth with a height of 8.848m, incalculably and incredible fascinating at the same time, first ascent in 1953 by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary. All these thoughts come automatically in our minds when we hear this name. And it inspires many of us to experience this mountain in reality, to explore the area, where the big expedition on the peak start and to feel the atmosphere during these huge mountains and large glaciers around us, which let us feel so small compared to this incredible landscape!
Experience this great nature during one of our Everest Region Treks.
