Join us for an Adventurous Bike Ride and Hike to Tindhara Jharana on Saturday, August 05, 2023!

Hike for Life is organizing a day bike ride and hike from Bhaktapur, Jadibutti to Tindhara Waterfall. If you're interested in joining us, please call Ganesh Shrestha at 9844092650. Kindly confirm your availability by July 27th, so we can coordinate with you.

📅 Date: August 05, 2023 (Saturday)
⏰ Meeting Point: Jadibutti, Bhaktapur at 7:00 am
📍 Destination: Tindhare Jharana, Nepal

Itinerary:
Morning:
- Meet at Jadibutti, Bhaktapur at 7:00 am.
- Start your bike ride towards Tindhara Jharana, following the route from Bhaktapur.
- Enjoy the scenic journey and make a stop at Nababuddha to explore the area and take in the surroundings.

Afternoon:
- Continue the bike ride towards Tindhara Homestay & Farm.
- Arrive at Tindhara Homestay & Farm for lunch. Choose from the available options: Chicken Khana (450 Rupees) or Veg Khana (350 Rupees).
- Take some time to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the homestay.

Hike:
- After lunch, begin the hike towards Tindhara waterfall from Tindhara Homestay & Farm.
- Reach the Tindhara waterfall and immerse yourself in its natural beauty. Take pictures and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

Evening:
- Return to Tindhara Homestay & Farm after the hike.
- Spend some more time at the homestay, relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

Departure:
- Depart from Tindhara Homestay & Farm and start the journey back to Kathmandu.
- Arrive in Kathmandu in the evening, concluding the bike ride and hike adventure.
- Be prepared for an amazing hike. Remember to bring walking boots, raincoats, day packs, light jackets, extra T-shirts, water bottles (including water), and some dry fruits or personal snacks.

Note: The hike is non-commercial, so there's no charge to pay.

Hike for life is organizing a day Hike from Godawari to Phulchoki on Saturday 10th Sep 2022. If you are interested and want to join us on the hike please call us at 9851133222 Sharad Khatiwada, Ganesh Shrestha 9844092650.

Outline Itinerary Of Phulchowki Hiking

07:00 – Meeting point Godawari Bus stand.
07:15 -Shopping for required items/ tea coffee. Buy necessary foods and snacks.
07:45 – Entry your name (entrance of Phulchowki) pay an entry fee and start your hike.
08:00 – Start hiking from Checkpost to Phulchoki. On the way, you will experience the vegetation of the subtropical thick forest of Oak and rhododendron.
12:30 – Reach the top of Phulchowki (2782m), which is rewarded with expansive views of the mountains from the eastern part of the Annapurna range to Gaurishanker in the east.

Lunch break for half an hour (note: there is a small Army canteen where you could buy tea, water, some snack, noodle soups, etc. but make sure that you bring plenty of snacks and water as there are no water or food available on the way)
13:00 – Hike down the same route to Godawari
16:30 – Arrive at Godawari

Checklist: Walking boots, raincoat / umbrella, light jackets, extra T-shirts, water bottles (including water), dry foods/snacks, and other personal stuff.

Hike for Life is organizing a day Hike from Matatirtha to Chandragiri Hills on Saturday 27th August- tomorrow. If you are interested and want to join us on the hike please call us at 9851133222 Sharad Khatiwada, Ganesh Shrestha at 9844092650.

Outline Itinerary:

Meeting point and time- 06:45AM Kalanki Chowk (Near Baba Oil Store- 150m ahead of Naikap).
Shopping for required items/ tea coffee. Buy necessary foods and snacks.
07:00 – Drive to Matatirtha Temple from Kalanki
07:30 – Start hiking from Matatirtha to Chhap Bhanjyang through the small village and forest. Walk for 3 hours.
10:30 – After 3 hours of steep climb reach the top of Chhap Bhanjyang at 2,275m. and take rest some times and have lunch
11:30 – Continue the hike to the Chandragiri Hill
12:30 – Reach the top of Chandragiri Hill at 2729m.
13:00–15:30 Return Back to Champadevi hill (2278 meters) from Chandragiri
15:30-18:00 – Rerun back to Taudaha From Champadevi
18:30 – Arrive in Kathmandu

Be prepared for an Amazing Hike. Come with Walking boots, raincoats, day back, light jackets, extra T-shirts, water bottles (including water), Carry some dry fruits, and other personal stuff.

Note: The hike is not commercial so no any charge to pay.
