Started in 1991 as the Himalayan Whitewater Rodeo by some of the world's leading expedition kayakers to celebrate the end of an
epic Himalayan whitewater season, this beloved event - the first of its kind in the Himalayas - has become a symbol of international camaraderie, cooperation, inspiration, and competition. OUR PARTNERS
The Himalayan Whitewater Challenge could not happen without the support of a large, amazing community of athletes, outfitters, sponsors, and enthusiasts. An international kayaking event for Nepalese river guides & paddlers from around the world to get together and celebrate life on the river. A weekend to connect - to challenge each other and play, drink & dance. This year the event will feature a Down River Race, Boater Cross Challenge and Extreme Slalom Competition on a challenging class III/IV+ section of the Trishuli River at Fishling. Hope to see you on the river Trishuli on 25,26 & 27Nov 2018. Registration Fee for the Athletes and Program Viewer Fee for the Nepalese and Foreign Nationalities :
