This is a place I have visited often, which makes it even more heartbreaking to witness it being washed away by such an unimaginable disaster. Seeing and hearing about the lives affected, the families and loved ones going through the hardest moments while holding onto hope that those missing will return safely, is truly devastating.
Let us keep them and their families in our prayers and hope for the safe return of everyone still missing.
