On August 26, 2026, the Trishuli River changed in an instant. The devastating flash flood has brought profound sadness to the Trishuli River Valley and left our entire community deeply shaken.

Royal Beach Camp is not simply a place where we work — it is our home. We have shared this river and this valley with our families, river guides, operators, businesses, farmers, and communities. These relationships are at the heart of who we are today.

Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy, especially the families who are waiting for news of their loved ones. While the full impact of the disaster is still being assessed, we recognize the immense pain, uncertainty, and loss being experienced across our community.

We stand together with the people of our valley and with the authorities, rescue teams, local communities, river professionals, and volunteers working tirelessly in search, rescue, and recovery efforts.
