Fighting has always been a human instinct,which has remained with us through the ages.Overtimes it has been technically developed sophisticated and systematized at present. The history of karate might have been introduced side by side as is developed in the two
large neighboring countries China & India. However the first introducer of official karate in Nepal is Mr. KARATE DO is a special martial art which doesn't require weapons. one uses parts of body rationally,effectively and skillfully. With thrusts,kicks,throws and defensive skills one weares the opponent down. BIHUNKOT SH*TO-RYU KARATE
As general youths I also was very enthusiastic about Martial art.However it was not approachable for me in my village as we are remote.After completion of my + 2, I move to our capital Kathmandu for higher studies,where I saw board of KARATE at TRI-CHANDRA Multiple Campus Kathmandu,at the same day i got admission and initiate the training.It was quite challenging for me to perform multitasks like study ,play game ,and teaching job,however I manage them at a time. finally with completion of graduate level I am able to complete graduation in Martial art too.Due to time constraints I had take part on few competitions but they add my courage to go on in this field,as I never loose a single competition there . Later together studying Master in Mathematics I was Involved in martial art as assist. coach at Ghantaghar DOJO ,along with some special trainiongs with T. RAI I find my coach quality. When working as Lecturer of Mathematics in different colleges at Kathmandu I am unable to manage time for sports,there become a gap of around 2 years for regular trainings however i ve manage time for special trainings so I was In touch with this.After I got oppertinuty to serve at HILBERT INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE as principal I encourage my students to join martial art for betterment their physical as well as mental performance. Within my four professional years in teaching mathematics at GOLDEN GATE INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE, HILBERT INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE , KATHMANDU MODEL COLLEGE , DON BOSCO COLLEGE , HERALD INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE and COSMOS COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY Ive got sufficient experience as well as academic excellence ,however as my goal of life is to make at least one happy or to serve for other ,lead me to return to my home town and serve there. Finally I decide to return and came to BIHUNKOT and started this institution. In addition the history of Nepalese Karate founder MR. THANESHWOR RAI, encourage me to abandon the city life as there are more oppertinuty, financially and academically I abandon them for the society and for them who loves sports and not get oppertinuty. These days I ve around 100 students in KARATE DO, their curiosity and interest towards this game I am well satisfied with my decision. KRISHNA PRASAD KANDEL. (SHAN-DAN)
