Come jump with us! We welcome everyone to our dropzone, either to jump or to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee while dreaming of skydiving. With activity all year round we can serve everybody from beginners to tan
dem students to top flyers. The dropzone is situated 5 minutes from the centre of Voss, and only an hour drive from Bergen, the second largest city in Norway. Skydive Voss is a well known name abroad, which we believe is because of the combination of beautiful nature and the moods of the people here. Skydive Voss was established in 1978 by Odd Dagfinn Hårklau, and today has more than 700 active members. The club is organised by a board consisting of six members and two deputy board members chosen on the annual meeting. Every day from the end of April to the end of August you can jump at Skydive Voss. We do more than 30,000 skydives each year, of which about 1,800 are tandem jumps. During these summer months we offer first time courses every week and tandem jumps every day. In total about 150 new students are educated annually. We also offer a variety of events during the summer, among others the now famous Extreme Sports Week, the worlds largest extreme sports festival. Build by voluntary communal work we now have a 800 square meter club house with café, lounge, hostel rooms, showers⁄sauna, class rooms, debrief room, videoroom, equipment room, offices and bistro. In the winter we rent out our premises to different events and organisations. 5 minutes from the clubhouse you can get on the skilift to the top of the mountains!
