As a revolt against the suffocating tide of AI generated images, over edited videos and chat gpt promoted texts, here’s the absolute bare minimum effort, and please consider this the absolute maximum that’ll be posted here from now

And I can’t stress it enough, the unwillingness of so many coaches to show even a spec of individuality is nauseating

Pure clean training, no voice overs, no fancy nonsense and absolute no AI same as everyone else horse s**t templates

I will do my best to be intellectually rigorous, artistically adventurous but I will always be technologically lackadaisical

Oh and this was a fun warm up game you can steal, students absolutely love it

Congratulations to NCA student and rocket scientist Mardin on a successful launch of their rocket last week, along with the NTNU propulsion team.

Truly incredible work and so inspiring to see.

I live my life as a coach in a constant state of inspiration and awe at the people I get to meet.

Rocket scientists, poets, artists, musicians, astrophysicists, Engineers, Doctors, paramedics, nurses, soldiers, builders, carpenters, electricians, Plumbers, Caretakers of the sick and vulnerable, and so much more train right here at NCA, and I’m so grateful i get to hear something or see something every day which makes me think something for the first time or think something some way for the last time.

There’s a lot more to NCA than learning a martial art, it’s about learning about other people, other crafts, perspectives and beliefs, religions, you name it, you can learn it or be changed by it.

I am so grateful to be so humbled by my students, and to live inside a high intensity ted talk with colourful shorts.

Keep it simple! You knowing things about the kick is only important if you can make people do the things you know without having to tell them

I have precisely zero patience for the habit of not intending to land a strike on the partner when doing defence drills

If you aren’t actually intending to hit them, they aren’t training defence, they’re just waving their limbs about

Once you focus on landing the shot, they focus on defence, purely. They have to move their feet different, shift their weight different, and, suffer consequences of negligence and lack of experience differently.

If you want to be a good partner you must want to hit your opposite

Sometimes the full rotation is a bridge too far, but 5 small bridges is no worries at all.

It also helps people gradually connect with the technique and what they already know, making the technique much easier for them much faster.

Complication and simplification are time and place, the former being almost never, and almost nowhere, when it comes to techniques.
