Dear all (not just ladies, but really – ALL!)
This is so relevant, eye-opening and empowering – I have to share this with you! So whether you have a uterus yourself or not, at whatever point you are in your life, I encourage EVERYONE TO PLEASE LISTEN and help raise the awareness of women's health.
Because we all have partners, mothers, sisters, female colleagues or friends who might be struggling with symptoms and could do well with more empathy and understanding, let alone the scientific knowledge that is out there today!
Mental health issues, lack of energy and mental focus, emotional imbalances, loss of muscle mass and bone density, increase of visceral body fat and even supposedly unrelated conditions such as "frozen shoulder" are all part of the laundry list of symptoms that come along with (peri-) menopause and the associated drop in oestrogen ect.
Different from previous generations, at 2024 there now is a growing discussion about this and luckily, also less stigma involved.
Information is at our fingertips and makes it possible to take skilled and informed lifestyle choices that help mitigate the hormonal rollercoaster every woman is inevitably about to experience at some point in her life.
I am still pretty much at the beginning of my research and journey, but as a „tool“-freak and science nerd, I couldn’t be more excited about this knowledge, eager to try it out and expand my toolbox! Maybe you feel the same! Any case, make sure to spread the word to your mothers, sisters, partners and friends!
