Weekly meal prep is back. Hoping it stays. 👀
I’ve been wild inconsistent with wellness routines over the past few years. I’m gradually getting things under control after being in survival mode for so long. Changes, surprises, and challenges can add up.
No matter how successful I’ve been in the past, no matter how many people I’ve helped achieve wellness and performance goals, no matter how much I know 🧠🤓 about what to do, no matter how many amazing coaches, trainers, doctors, and friends I have in my ear, getting out of habits and succumbing to environmental traps happened to me.
I’m back to paying my rent every day. Hitting the gym more. Prepping real food for meals. Deleting apps. Walking. Minding my sleep. Meditating. Reading. Mobility & yoga. Writing. It’s all back in small amounts and I’m building. 🧱x🧱
In working toward the wellness state I want, I’ve established some relationships and routines with brothers I can talk to about health and wellness. I have a circle of black men and we talk about everything, including blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, stress, sleep, therapy, business, money, relationships, travel, ans everything in between. Building this village has been key to this new phase. There are plenty of other friends and fitness or wellness seekers that have motivated me along the way or taught me something new or different. I’m greatful for the people in my life, God being in my corner, and the chance to keep pushing. 🚀
I hope you all are doing well. Keep pushing. Take care of yourselves. Fight for what you believe is right. Be kind. And let’s do the damn thing. 🙏🏾🖤
