August last year Plura Valley invited us on a project to rediscover the wreck of Torgtind.

The wreck is located just 90 min drive from the dive center in a very beautiful location.

Last year our team members took photos of the wreck and went back this year to film.

It has been quite satisfying to be able to join in on both the finding, photographing and the video making.

The guys at Plura Valley gave us the best support during this project.

Hope you enjoy the movie!

After a longer period of research and searching for the wreck with echo sounder, we dived the wreck of "S/S Sverre Sigurdssøn" last Saturday.

The vessel was owned by the company Nordenfjeldske Dampskips Selskap in Trondheim.
It was on a voyage from Trondheim to Oslo.
10th of June 1940 it was closing in to Bergen but struck a mine and sank quickly.

In 2012 the local power company, BKK, did a cable survey, found and identified the wreck.

Here is the video from the first dive done on the wreck:

Thanks for the effort from all involved, without your help, this would not be possible to do.

For a longer time we have planned, researched and prepared for a new project.

Some years ago a wreck were found and identified during a cablesurvey.

We have been looking for it for a while by echosounder. Earlier this week we got a very excact hit during a evening trip.

All the conditions were in place for a reckon dive this weekend.
We gathered the resources we needed and the team meet up today.

Wreck were located by echosounder at 100-110mtr, shotline and decotrapes deployed.
Divers rigged up and went in.

They came down on a un-dived wreck at 100-110mtr.

Here is a small peak on what we did and looked at.

Stay tuned to see what will come in the future.

The location is very exposed, so this was a team effort to performed.
Very experinced boat-captain and skilled and motivated surface support made the dive as easy as possible for the divers.F

A question popped up:
"What lies below the wreck of Kystbas?"

We had to head out and find it out!

Below the wreck it was an awesome wall with some intense deep water life, sponges, corals and more.

Here is the video we made:

Last weekend we attended a dive trip to the wreck of R56, located at Moster in Norway.

It was an old German Minesweeper. The cool thing wa that it had Voith Schneider propellers.

During the dive we met a Perifylla Perifylla jellyfish.

Earlier this year we participated together with Viking Cave Divers in an exploration of a new cave in Northern Norway.

The cave is called Laksfors Spring and is located 15min drive from the E6 in Grane.

We filmed and used photometry to map the cave.

Here is the result of our work:

Today it is 80years since a tragic event occurred just outside of Bergen.

The Norwegian salvage vessel SS Draugen was on a voyage from Ålesund to Sagvåg.

Just outside of Bergen it ran on a minefield and was sunken.

Just over 3 years ago we started searching for the wreck, using archive references, side scan sonar and diving.

On a dive exactly 3 years ago we found the wreck.

Since the wreck are at a quite large depth, we needed to gather a group of solid divers to do more than film it with GoPro camera.

We can proudly today present the result of 3 years with training, planning and filming the last months.

Here is our documentary:

Note:
To dive this wreck, it is like going into a time capsule, everything is intact. We have not removed a single item, just taken photos/film.
Due to the risk of plundering of items, we have not revealed the exact location.
To all wreck divers that see this movie and post. Please respect our wish to keep it intact.
