Greetings from our first Pyhä tour weekend (first pic) and from Tamok by Henttonen!

Pyhä got new snow during the weekend and our guests were loving it. The weekend included splitboarding in Pyhä fells, some lift access pow, and pow surfing of course!

Henttonen send greetings from Tamok that snow is good and there is enough of it ;)

We are super glad to see so many showing interest in our tours. Currently 17 people have booked their trip!

Why join us in Pyhä or Tamok? We show you all the best places to go while taking care of your safety as our priority. You will learn a lot of avalanche territory and how to plan safer trips to the backcountry. And of course to meet new people sharing the same passion!

Our Nordic Backcountry Tours are suitable for most ability levels and are a great way to learn how to ride safely through alpine terrain either on snowboards with snowshoes, splitboards or touring skis. We even have Ilahu Pow Surf boards available to ride throughout the camps and if you’re new to backcountry touring, we have rental options available via local retailers.

You can book your spot for the trip by paying a downpayment of 25% worth the trip. If you are interested, but not yet sure, pls tell that to us too!

For winter 2022, we’ve scheduled two very different nordic backcountry tours including our popular Pyhä Lucky Ranch camp located in Finnish Lapland, PLUS a unique backcountry program based at Tamok, in northern Norway and hosted by local guides Jarkko-Juhani Henttonen and Sami Modenius.

Our Nordic Backcountry Tours are suitable for most ability levels and are a great way to learn how to ride safely through alpine terrain either on snowboards with snowshoes, splitboards or touring skis. We even have Ilahu Pow Surf boards available to ride throughout the camps and if you’re new to backcountry touring, we have rental options available via local retailers.

Both the Finnish Lapland program and Tamok, Norway tours are in a cooperation with Lucky Ranch Pyhä, Tamokhuset with Cohkka Guides, Ilahu Pow Surf boards and Get Arctic rental.
