Here's why:

It is not genetics. It is not time. It is not that I have some advantage you don't.

It is one thing: I built the physical capacity for it before life asked me to use it.

Most dads wait until they need it. By then the energy is gone, the strength isn't there, and the body that was supposed to carry the life is the thing slowing it down.

The Capacity Build is Step 1.

Get strong before your life outpaces your body.

Not for the mirror. For building a life worth living.

Save this if you want to know what Step 1 actually looks like.

Step 1:

Get strong, lean, and build capacity. Because you can't make any moves when you do not have the energy and the resilience to push through the hard parts of this journey.

Strength and capacity is a cheat code for having clarity, energy, and drive.

Step 2:

Have a real measurable outcome for your life.

What do you want to accomplish? What does that look like? In what timeframe are you going to accomplish that? Only then can we build out a plan that makes that happen.

Step 3:

Skills. Leverage all the skills and abilities that you have to create the positive outcome.

Everyone keeps telling you, "You need more, more, more." You probably have everything you need. It just needs to be organized.

They have a chance we never had.

our parents thought the course of the world would remain the same.

college to good job then a life we could thrive in.

we know we have to fight for every inch. we know the world our kids are growing up in.

it scares the hell out of me sometimes.

I do everything in my power to raise Strong, fit, courageous, and compassionate humans.

I help other men do the same.

follow if that is your jam.

t comes next?

1. get fit, get strong, build the capacity for life now, and the moves you need to make.

2. Ditch what "they" want you to think, use your resources to become independent. build the skills you need to break out.

3. Build real freedom, for yourself, for your kids, for your grandkids.

Health, wealth, and freedom.

strength and capacity come first.

You can escape! How?

Most fathers are in the pressure cooker.

Work pressing down.

Money pressing down.

Kids pressing down.

The system designed it this way.

There is no release valve coming.

So you cant wait for the pressure to release.

First:

You build the capacity to move the pot to the stove.

Where you decide the heat.

Where you can simmer or cool. Where nothing blows.

This is what physical capacity actually buys you.

Not vanity.

Control over how the heat hits your life.

If you have been waiting for things to calm down so you can finally start, this is for you.

Things don't calm down. You do.

Save this if tonight’s the night

The secret to doing it:

Change your main quest.

From my wife and me I had a successful six-figure business. She had a very successful career.

The "make money, have a big house, be successful" quest was essentially completed.

You'd be with your kids and spend time with your family. That had been the side quest.

So we ditched the big house. We closed the business. We ended the career. We sold the house.

We move to a mobile home in the woods.

Zero debt. Solid savings.

Unlimited time with our kids at the point in life they need it most.

Unlimited Adventures.

The time to rebuild a business into systems that the kids can use so they never have to go to college. They never have to be someone else's employee if they never want to be.

Time and space, options and opportunity become the primary quest.

Life is richer. Life is better. There are challenges but they're the right challenges.

You get two very different versions of the same man.

The first version is waiting.

Waiting to feel like himself again.

Waiting for the right time the right energy
the right season of life

Watching the gap between who he is and who he used to be get wider every year.

Telling himself it's just age.

The second version is building.

He doesn't have more time than the first man.

He doesn't have more motivation.

He found the right goal: capacity, not pure aesthetics. The results became easy to see, the life change became obviouse to those around him.

The man he used to be isn't gone.

He's under the weight of everything the first version has been carrying without a physical foundation strong enough to hold it.

Build the foundation.

He comes back.

Follow if you're ready to be the second version.

Add it to your day here's how:

1. set a timer for 60 minutes. Get up and move When it goes off.

2. Add it to your gym Warm-ups. Make eye contact all the time with a rando. it is how I get friends.

3. repeat daily. That builds a habit.

That habit makes you feel better, move better, and takes away background pain.

Dad strength training over 40 feels like starting over. It isn't.

The fitness industry sells you a lie, a restart.

A new workout
A new challenge
A new version of yourself in 30 days.

That framing is wrong and it's why most dads quit again.

You're not building someone new.

You're uncovering someone who got buried. The athlete, the capable man, the one who used to move through the world without negotiating with his own body.

He didn't retire.

He just hasn't had anyone build the foundation back underneath him.

That's the work.

Not a restart.

An excavation.

Save this if you've been calling it starting over.

Step 1: Release the tightness

Step 2: Turn on the correct muscles

Step 3: Get strong and mobile so this rarely happens.

Life is a lot more fun when you are strong and move well.
