Last weekend we participated in the annual spring seminar in Helsinki 🇫🇮

Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the atmosphere inside was truly warm and inspiring. We learned so much from the renowned instructors Yagisawa sensei, Furusawa sensei, and Shinzato sensei from Nippon Sport Science University 🙇‍♂️

We also had a bless training alongside kendokas from different countries and share our passion for kendo ⚔️ 💫

Huge thanks to the Finnish Kendo Federation and the Swedish Kendo Federation for making this seminar possible through their collaboration!

What a weekend! Aleks and Linda (plus Tormod from Sørvest Kendoklubb!) had an absolute blast at the Swedish Kendo Federation's Winter Camp in Skellefteå led by Murakami Raita sensei✨✨! So much learning, so much fun. 🔥🔥🔥

The 2025 edition of National Championship was absolutely AMAZING, full of emotional highs and incredible performances! Our club absolutely shone, bringing home a haul of medals and earning some fresh Dan grades!

OSI Kendo teams Angry Aunties and Lean Mean Ippon Machine grabbed some shiny bronze medals in the team competition at Norgesmesterskap i Kendo 2024!

In addition, Julian Trettenes won the 1-2.dan category,
Marianne Skiftesvik won silver in the Ladies competition Linda Xi and Alice Powell won bronze in the Ladies competition, and Linda Xi won fighting spirit in the Open competition✨💪✨
