Salsakompaniet offers dance courses, shows, seminar
s & cultural events, festivals, music and dance education. Our organisation is dedicated to the education expansion of Latin dance, music and culture. The school was founded in 1999 and has grown from 800 to 2500 students since then, which makes us the largest Latin Dance organisation in Norway with the most complete class schedule, offering top quality delivered by professionals each in their area of expertise. We are proud to be Norway`s largest Salsa & latindance organisation and pioneers of these iconic dance forms in Norway as well as we offer the highest level of dance education in popular and traditional latin and Afro Caribbean dance forms. We are also the only school pioneer to integrate all of these dancer forms and styles under one company. As part of The Norwegian dance federation (from 2016) and as a cultural organisation we have the responsibility to educate, promote and share our the latin music and dance culture at it´s highest level for all to enjoy and appreciate. All our courses have a solid ground in the roots of the culture and arts for us to bring the highest quality of education and complete development of all each of our students and the growth of our community and dance scene as a whole.
