Finally - the wait is over!
2022 is going to be the soccer party to join – and we can`t wait to share the love for sports and togetherness with all of you!
Next year will mark the 50th time Norway Cup will be arranged at Ekebergsletta. Imagine that!
During the first tournament in 1972 we welcomed 8.400 participants and 420 teams.
From the very beginning, Norway Cup included girl`s teams, and in 1972, we were able to welcome 8 girls’ teams at Ekebergsletta. At that time, we were very proud to call us soccer pioneers, and plan to get bigger and better in terms of girl’s and women’s participation in soccer.
During Norway Cup, 1.600 members of Bækkelagets Sportsklub work 60.000 voluntary hours.
In addition, we have more than 600 volunteers from our partners that contribute to arrange the worlds biggest soccer tournament for children and young people.
We are very ambitious when it comes to next year`s 50th anniversary of Norway Cup, and we plan on creating experiences for life together with players, coaches, volunteer, guests and partners.
Our new anniversary logo has been created to invite to 2022`s biggest party, and symbolize our engagement in inclusion, equal opportunities, and safe participation.
