Let us talk about 25tovner cup😏

Tidenes største turnering i Norge, Stovner Cup 2019, ble sparket igang. Dette var 25 års jubileumet til cupen og Unique var på forhånd stemt frem som favoritter til å løfte det prestisjetunge trofeet. Laget ble trukket i det som mange mente var dødens gruppe, men kom seg videre som gruppetoer etter 2 seiere, 1 uavgjort og ett tap. I kvartfinalen tok laget en overbevisende 4-0 seier mot Nordavind, mens i semifinalen fikk man en tøff motstand av franske St-Patrick's France. De grønnkledde fra Frankrike ble beseiret 3-2 og finalen sto for tur. Nok en gang var det Stovner på motsatt side, som mange ganger tidligere. «Århundrets finale» levde opp til forventningene, med 2-2 til ordinær tid med to verdensklasse scoringer av Kajan. Ekstraomgangene kunne ikke skille de to lagene, og alt skulle avgjøres fra krittmerket. Unique trakk det lengste strået når kaptein Jeyan Indiran reddet klubben nærmest på egenhånd, selv med et skadet kne og ble kronet mestre av Stovner Cup 2019! Gratulerer til Kajan Kiruba som også mottok finalens beste spiller!

English:

The biggest tournament of all time in Norway, Stovner Cup 2019, kicked off. This was the 25th anniversary of the Cup and Unique had previously been voted as favorites to lift the prestigious trophy. The team was drawn to what many thought was the group of death, but advanced to the knock out stages after 2 victories, 1 draw and 1 loss. In the quarterfinals, the team took a convincing 4-0 win against Nordavind, while in the semi-finals one got a tough resistance from French St-Patrick's France. The green ones from France were defeated 3-2 and the tickets for the final were secured. Once again Stovner was on the opposite side, as many times before. The "Final of the Century" lived up to expectations, with 2-2 to regular times with two world-class goals by Kajan. Two halves of extra time could not separate the two teams, and everything was to be determined from penalty shootout. Unique pulled the rabbit out of the hat when Captain Jeyan Indiran had penalty saves out of this world and the club was crowned champions of the Stovner Cup 2019! Congratulations to Kajan Kiruba who also received the best player in the final award!

Welcome to our official page!

Unique Fc is a tamil football team created in Oslo, Norway by friends in August 16, 2018.

Friends from different tamil teams in Oslo, came together and created this team. It was build on same ideas, and values. The team consist of 24 players between the age of 17 to 27.

After founding this team, we have been in 6 finals and won 2 of them (one of them being 25tovner cup). We are still learning, adapting and growing! Next season you will see us coming home with more trophies.

By being a small team that just started their season, we are thankful for all the support we get/got from our families and friends! Thank you, and keep on believing in the team!
