When turning downhill on roller skis, there is no need to make the small steps that skiers typically do during winter. Instead, the recommended technique is to simply transfer your weight into the turn and move your outer leg slightly forward

Stop skiing with shoulders next to your ears! 🛑

The mistake in the video is exaggerated, so that you see the point.

Stiff shoulders are a classic beginner mistake (relevant both winter ❄️ and summer ☀️).

Tension doesn't give you power. It gives you muscle pain 🥲
So just relax, take it e-e-easy!

To fix it:
👉 Drop your shoulders and let your arms swing.
👉 Check your poles - if they’re too long, they force your shoulders up.

Dima was one of the first instructors to join our team last year. It didn’t take long for him to win over our clients with his dedication, sense of humor, and incredible skills on the snow ❄️

With 4 years of experience as a ski instructor and over 15 years as a biathlete, Dima knows how to challenge skiers of all levels—from total beginners to advanced-level skiers.

We’re excited to start 2025 with a bigger team! Say hello to our 7 new ski instructors—full of energy, expertise and a love for coaching.

Last week, the whole team got together get to know each other and share ideas. Some of our new instructors have already had their first classes—and they’ve done an amazing job 👏
