Let's talk about the challenges of restarting your fitness journey after a long break. We understand that life happens, priorities shift, and exercise may take a backseat. But now, it's time for your triumphant return! 💃🏾💪🏾

First and foremost, be kind to yourself. Your body may feel different than it did before, and that's okay! It's normal to experience a decrease in stamina, flexibility, and overall strength. Remember, you're starting again, and every step forward is progress! 🙌🏾

One of the hurdles you may face is regaining your endurance. Your cardiovascular fitness might need some time to catch up, but with consistent effort and dedication, you'll notice your stamina increasing. Stay focused and don't give up! 💫

Muscle soreness might also make a grand entrance. After a long time, your muscles need time to adapt and rebuild. Expect some post-workout soreness, and don't let it discourage you. It's a sign that you're challenging your body and making positive changes! 💥

Lastly, mental barriers can be tough to overcome. Doubts and negative self-talk may try to sabotage your progress, but remember that you are capable and deserving of a healthier, stronger you. Surround yourself with positivity and believe in your ability to conquer any obstacle! 🌟✨

As a beginner, it's normal to face challenges during your Pilates practice. Remember, even the most experienced practitioners started from scratch! 💡

One of the hurdles you might encounter is mastering the precise movements. Pilates is all about quality over quantity, focusing on control, alignment, and activating the right muscles. It takes time to develop that mind-body connection, but with consistency, you'll get there! 🧘‍♀️💭

Episode 4 is OUT 🙌🏾🥳🎙️

Meet Monika, Pilates Instructor, originally from Poland, based in Stavern, Norway. Where she has Monika has been teaching Pilates for 7 years now.

Monika has a sports background in physical movement, always been very active, running a lot and CrossFit. However when she tried Pilates, it took her some time to understand the method, and found Pilates to be a more sustainable type of exercise. After a year or so she started feeling in her body and that helped her better teach her students with a more presence attitude.

In this connection we also talked about the Pilates business in Norway, how we can create a more collaborative community and reach more people with the movement.
