It’s raceweek 🙌🏻🫡

However, this weekend the team has to split.

Seb and James will race in 🇸🇪 which will be valuable training for Seb before the last round of FIA karting academy which will be at the same track.

Thomas is doing a guest performance in karting again, representing the team for CRG in Andebu. We are humbled and appreciative of all the help CRG Norge is giving us. We are proud to represent you.

We can also inform that the GT5 car is ready to race💪🏻 who will be the driver at the next race …🤔

Exciting times, soon next round in the FIA karting academy, we are working on budgets to get Thomas back in the Porsche, and his last training camp with wimmer werk is coming up. , hosted by Kragerø Action Park is also “just around the corner”- make sure to follow us for all the action, also on Instagram grondal_eeles_racing😇

Det lokale gokart-talentet Sebastian Eeles-Grøndal (14) viste at han hadde noe å gjøre blant verdenseliten, men en kjøremessig opptur ble til en sviende nederlag etter løpet.

Noooooo no no no no…

DQ for Seb after the final because of underweight with a 100 grams. This is most likely Seb loosing weight during the day, because, off course, the weight is being checked after every heat, and we have been ok.

This was NOT the ending we wanted😭😭😭 after crossing the finish line top 10!!

But what have we learned? To make sure the pilot drinks and eats more during a long week that this is. And especially drinking extra before the final.

What are we taking away- loads of good racing, loads of learning, and readiness to continue fighting 💪🏻 We see the potential is there, and Seb has proved it too us during this week.

P10 across the finish line in a though final. But we are expecting some penalties, we didn’t see what happened on TV? But we will come back with the final result.

Overall result after all the heats.

Seb is P13 overall, and will start P13 in the final. Only 36 make the final.

Seb’s number on the kart is 427. Should have stated that a bit earlier- as all of them look the same😊

Day 4 at FIA Karting Championship karting academy:

It’s been wet wet wet☔️⛈️☔️ But overall we are super happy with the day, at least the team around Seb… the driver himself has some thoughts about what he did «wrong» today, and were he can improve for tomorrow, which is good. We always want and strive for improvement💪🏻

Heat 1- Seb startet in position 11 (P11). Really tricky conditions with heavy rain and zero visibility. Seb managed to get a good start and drove safe and well across the finish line to a P8. 3 places up, which is exactly what we asked of him. After penalties he ended P7.

Heat 2- started P11 again, same conditions. Unfortunately, in the start, the guy behind drove into Seb quite hard, and Seb again into the guy in front, which resulted in a front fairing penalty. But he managed to get the kart across the finish line P8, yet again. Although the driving was a bit more hectic in this heat. With penalty he ended P10. There were a lot of penalties in this heat.

As of now, we do not know where he is overall. The results have not been published yet. But after heat 1 he had driven himself up to P15 overall of 48.

Tomorrow, we go again with one heat, and then, hopefully final. The 36 best get to drive the final. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
