The Smith Creek The Net Holster™ is changing the way anglers are carrying their nets. It is quite simply the new, better way to carry your landing net. It holds your net securely, and out of the way, against your back.

It keeps the net from being caught in bushes and trees while walking and from swinging around your back and getting in your face while bending over. It also puts an end to fumbling with a clip behind your back to unhook your net while trying to control a fish-heavy rod with the other hand. “Quick to draw, and easy to holster” sums up this great new product perfectly.

Vi er særdeles stolte av at vi kan legge ut filmen Silent Waters til fri benyttelse, bare å dele.

Filmen er finansiert og produsert i et samarbeide mellom Icelandic Wildlife Fund og Reddvillaksen. Vi har holdt filmen tilbake, bortsett fra å vise den på noen kinoer i Norge, fordi hovedmålsettingen var å vise den på RUV,som er hovedkanalen på Island. Det skjer as we speak. Og det kommer til å bli bråk. Mowi og Salmar, som er hovedaktører på Island, har prøvd å stoppe TV sendingen.
Silent Waters bygger opp under det forskerne og vi har visst i mange år. Oppdrett i åpne merder, tar livet av villaksen. O-næring er ikke bare skadelig for Norsk laks. Overalt hvor denne multinasjonale industrien dukker opp i verden, med sine åpne og forurensende merder, blir det konflikter.

Iceland salmon rivers in all their glory, provide wonderful and diverse opportunities both with double-handers, switch rods and single-handed rods. The fishing can be technical, but the rewards are great.
