Norway is treating us well this year! Here is from on of the best GS days at FONNA Glacier Ski Resort earlier in September

Hoy!
Since the last update ( 4 March ) a lot has happened.
New season means new team members.
We are now 5 guys on the team. Bjørnar, Adrian, Marcus, and the rookies Peder Dahlum Eide and Henrik Røa. Also we have a new head-coach, the crazy Austrian Christian Perner.
We have already had two camps together as a team and everything seems to work perfect.

Since the 2015-winter in Norway delivered crazy amounts of snow, the conditions on the Norwegian glacier are still awesome.
FONNA Glacier Ski Resort have delivered both world class service and good conditions. We could not be more happy about the situation here in western Norway right now. Also great to have Adrian back on skies after last years ACL problems. He is looking strong!

We are still at Fonna, and the plan is to be here until Thursday. Then we have a total of 16 days. We have had quality Super-g, giant slalom and ZickZack days. The action photos are from the last days Super-g training were we have had 6-9 runs in 1,05min Super-g.
Adrian`s father Sverre Sejersted is as always taking great pictures, and we really appreciate him showing up.

All in all we are happy about the situation, and everything is moving in the right direction. The communication between the Attackingvikings and the crazy Austrian seams to work really good and we are looking forward for the coming months!

Giant Slalom season is over, and all in all it´s been a great season. Rasmus secured 2nd and now has his own spot in world cup for next season! The other boys also did a big step from last year and finished 8th and 20th.
The last two races in Jasna was a little bit off a rough patch. Monsen did a pretty good result the first day, he ended 8th with nothing but 2 medium result, at least to his standards. Rasmus ended 37 the first day, and after being 2nd in the 1 run, only 2 hundreds from the leader he ended 12 the last day. Bjørnar ended 17 and 25.
Next up is junior worlds in Hafjell for Marcus, Kvitfjell WC for Bjørnar and a few days of for Rasmus.
Norway, get ready.

Saalbach, Austria. 3 months after our last update and almost at the end of the Europa Cup season, so the updates have been lacking from our part.

To do a quick recap, both Rasmus and Bjørnar had their first wins in Europa Cup races, Rasmus won Pozza di Fassa GS and Bjørnar won the super combined in Sella Nevea, being 27 after the downhill. Marcus also had his first top 5 result, at the GS in Lelex.

All of the guys that have skied a full season has had a best season so far with overall points, and theres still some more races to go. Rasmus is as of now leading the overall by a mere 8 points, so hopefully we can all step up at the end and close this season in a good way.

For the other guys, Adrian is on a good way. He is training and doing his thing to get back to us for the next season. Ola had a bad crash in Wengen, which gave him a really bad concussion. He is not having as good of a recovery we were all hoping for. Last update from him was that he was feeling a little bit better, but still get really dizzy and tired after being to long without rest. Wish them both well and for a full recovery as soon as possible.

As for present time, we were supposed to race a super-g and super-combined today, but Saalbach has been unlucky with the weather and todays races got cancelled. Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully we will be able to race 2 super-g´s tomorrow.

Now we are back home in Norway after some weeks in northern Scandinavia. We have had good start of the new Europa-cup season! Rasmus took the teams first podium already in the first race. 2th place in GS.
The day after all the guys were top 13. Rasmus 5th, Bjørnar 6th, Ola 12 and Monsen 13th. Also scored good FIS-points. So the GS races really went our way.
The Slalom races we had fast sections, but did to many mistakes. We will be back stronger in the "Slalom-month" December.

So to sum it up we are happy with the start, but can't wait to keep going! Winter is finally here.
Tomorrow we are leaving to Kvitfjell for some days of Slalom training. Next races for us will be two Europa-cup Super-g races in Reiteralm 10-11 december.

Today we finally started the new Europa-cup season, and we are off to a good start! Rasmus ended up second, and scored 8,60 FIS points! Congratz! Also the other guys showed fast skiing in sections, so we are ready for the next days. 3 more Europa-races in Finland before we go back to Norway.

Uke 39 NRK1 og NRK Super søndag 28. september kl. 18.30 Line blir med fetteren sin, OL-vinner Kjetil Jansrud, og resten av alpinlandslaget på en tøff treningsuke. Hvordan går det når en helt vanlig jente skal være toppidrettsutøver på heltid?

Yet another great camp to finish of our 3 camp tour here in Switzerland! Bluebird almost everyday, conditions has been challenging some days, but for the most part perfect. Of course also a big thank you to Adrian´s dad Sverre, who were with us for 3 weeks, taking these photos and helping us!

We have had luck on our side on almost everything, except this. Ola, our allround skier fell on his inside in GS, and with his (to quick) reaction time tried to get up, he dislocated his shoulder. He flew back to Norway and took MR the next day. Pictures shows that now that the shoulder is back in place, everything else seems to be fine! Recovery shouldn´t take to long! We are rooting for you buddy:)

We have one more day here in Saas fee before we go back home to Norway for 3 weeks, with focus on dryland and doing all necessary preparations for the (soon) upcoming season!

We are in Zermatt at the moment, so far we have had 6 days with bluebird and aggressive, super nice snow. This camps priority has been speed and giant slalom, which has been perfect since there´s been close to no wind or bad weather!
Also the winner of DNB cup for junior 1 last year Timon Ludvig Haugan is with us for this camp! Hopefully he can learn a thing or two, even though he skis really nice.
Tomorrow is a day off before we take on the last 4 days!

Three Attacking Vikings on the podium in Junior Worlds today! Henrik 1, Marcus 2 and Rasmus 3. Also strong performance by Adrian, ended up 9 with bib 46!! Congratz guys!
