Last night was the first mixed training session of 2026 at Lystlunden Stadium, Horten. With 17 players aged between 12-49 it was a great turnout!!
Despite it being a cold and snowy Tuesday evening with temperatures down to -15C all turned up enthusiastic and in high spirits. I believe that shows what the squad are made of!!
After a quick chat indoors about the year ahead, T1 rugby and some tips from Adam on resistance training we headed out onto the pitch, warmed up and then went straight into a T1 touch game putting theory into action and getting ready for the first tournament of the year at Valhall Arena in Oslo on Saturday 31st January.
At the end we gave Filip “the bumps” celebrating his 18th birthday and Oliver finished with his usual enthusiastic Sui!! (If you know you know!!)
We would love to see others come and join us at training and test the sport out. T1 rugby is a safe, low impact sport and means that all ages can play and contribute. If you are keen to meet new people, work off the excesses of Christmas, want to make new friends and have fun, come and join us one Tuesday evening from 19:00-21:00 at Lystlunden Arena.
