Another hunting technique orcas use when they create the bait ball of herring is blowing bubbles. This one of the ways use to disorientate them so it’s easier to get them. Because of the orcas excellent communication they are able to make this succesvol. Specials thanks for for capturing and sharing this with us.

This spectacular carousel feeding is captured today by our lovely guest Döme Lingauer . Here you can see how the orcas make a ball of herring and slap them with their tales. After that they eat the herring.

This is very well coordinated hunt where they communicate lot what you can hear very clearly on this record.
