Here at Geilo Adaptive Snowsports, in 2013/14 we have started an Adaptive programme to assist anyone with a disability to get on to the snow. We want you to feel the fun, excitement and freedom that comes from skiing, snowboarding or just being surrounded by our winter wonderland and playing in the snow. Here are Slaatta we have qualified adaptive Instructors and willing volunteers to assist and

train you. At this time we have an adult Praschberger Mono-Ski and a Junior Bi-Ski that would be suitable for children aged 6 to 12 years old (or smaller teenagers/adults). We have tethers and outriggers so we can also teach you how to use alpine skis or ride a snowboard. Snowsports are a great way to exercise and to make new friends. We try our very best to make this source of enjoyment available to all by utilising the correct equipment and giving the right level of support and instruction for your level of ability. Everything, anything is possible when we work together.
