A huge thank you to all the wonderful new mamas and mamas-to-be who joined my Diastasis Recti & Pilates workshop. The first of many ✨

We focused on what truly matters: moving with intention, strategy, calm, and trust in our bodies. The energy in the room was incredible, and watching everyone grow more confident in their movement was so special.

I’m so proud of what we achieved together and of the breakthroughs and milestones reached during the workshop 💪🏼

Thank you for your openness. Your energy. And for your trust 🫶🏼

Already looking forward to the next one.

Managing my blood sugars is a daily game of snakes and ladders. Having the right amount of protein and carbs is one thing but if I dont sleep well, have a coffee before breakfast, or eat breakfast later than usual that will impact my glucose levels.
Sometimes it feels like it’s all out of my control.
But after testing a lot of different types of breakfast, this is the one with the least surprises.
Omelette with one yolk and three egg whites, with feta and spinach (I bake it in the microwave and it’s been a game-changer!)
Salad of fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes, avocado and walnuts
Always with a touch of oregano, salt&pepper and cayenne pepper, cause I love the little kick

Post run maintenance with the foam roller. Two months ago I got an aching knee. I went to my physio who gave me a scolding about being a bad runner - aka, running whenever I feel like rather than on a consistent schedule. Cause the problem wasnt my knee. It was my hamstrings being over-tense from being overused. Since then, I run twice a week, on the same days, followed by a mat Pilates practice and ending with a foam roller session. I love learning how to better support my body so thankful for the scolding😅

Inspired by a chat we had with the girls during our Mat Pregnancy. Little story time on my way to pick up the boy about all the expectations I had for my labour and how none of that happened. And for a good reason! I think at some point I had even prepared the outfit I wanted to wear that day😅

When we are pregnant, we have a little human growing inside of us.
The more this little human grows, the more space they take.
That space is our belly and as they grow, our belly grows as well, causing our abdominals (the Re**us Abdomini) to move to the sides creating a gap.
That’s Diastasis Recti, and it’s a natural process that has to happen.

A normal diastasis measures approximately 2cm. However, it can become worse if extra pressure is applied to the abdominals through improper movement, whether it’s getting in and out of bed, or working out.

Some of the symptoms include lower back pain, pelvic and hip discomfort, coning, constipation, bloating, or soft belly in the middle of the abs.

Join me in this 2 hour workshop where I’ll explain more about what happens to our bodies during pregnancy and how to move in a safe way both during Pregnancy and after labour.

We’ll be practising Do’s and Dont’s both on the Mat and on the Reformer, as well as sharing tips for moving safely in your every day.

Who is it for?
Pregnant and postpartum women

Practical info:
Wear comfortable, training clothes
Refreshments and snacks will be provided (pregnancy safe)
The workshop will be in English and baby Norwegian😅
