Liquid Monster Crab flavour

As this superb flavour is water-soluble it will disperse freely around your bait and attract carp from far away. It will improve the palatability of any carp bait to great effect.

L-Lysine pure amino powder

This is a top feeding trigger among amino acids. It is considered as the most required amino acid for carp in a balanced or high nutritional value bait. Adding the right amino acids will make a valued addition to every kind of bait. It increases the palatability of feed offerings.

Research at several universities worldwide has demonstrated that certain amino acids are highly attractive to carp and that they will stimulate feeding. In tests with single amino acid supplements the most intense carp feeding reaction was to this amino acid, it indicated that L-lysine was the best olfactory stimulant.

It is difficult to find for fish for it is not plentiful present in natural food. Some crustaceans contain high levels of L-lysine, like krill and mussels.

Appearance: white powder / crystals
Solubility: semi-soluble in cold water

Dosage direction per kg dry mix:
Recommended for use in carpbait / soak at around 5 – 15 gr.

POP UP MIX WHITE

Create your perfect pop-ups with our premium pop-up mix. This ready-to-use, milk protein-based formula, enriched with egg compound, is designed to attract even the most wary carp. With various visual appeals and high leakage, it ensures your bait stands out and draws in more bites.

Easy to roll and highly buoyant
Our pop-up mix is effortless to roll and has great buoyancy. The ready baits maintain their buoyancy for at least 24 hours, remaining hard but still spongy, and will release all attractants for a prolonged period.

Customization Options
You can personalize your pop-ups by adding up to around 10-15% of other dry ingredients or additives, such as DMPT, citric acid, robin red, full-fat GLM, liver powder, keramine, various hydro powders, powdered/liquid flavors and spices, sweeteners, amino acids, belachan, CPSP90, crayfish meal, and more.

Additionally, you can incorporate various liquids, provided they are not too heavy. Avoid using bulk oils like h**p and salmon oil in pop-ups. As the mix already contains egg compound powder, there is no need to add extra eggs during preparation.

Making hard pop-ups
For those needing very hard pop-ups, we recommend adding approximately 5% egg albumen.

Usage Warning
This mix is intended for hookbait/lure use only and is not suitable for human or animal
consumption.

For making wafters, we recommend using approximately 2/3 (by volume) base mix with 1/3 pop-up mix as a guideline.
For example: 2 cups of base mix and 1 cup of pop-up mix.
Always start with a small test batch to ensure your ratios are correct.

During 5 short sessions of just 3 to 4 hours, fished with the Seafood boilie. His setup was a 16mm Seafood Wafter as hookbait, fished over crushed and whole 16mm Seafood boilies.

Across these short sessions he managed to land 14 carp, including these two beautiful mirrors.

It’s his first year fishing with the SLR Range boilies Seafood range, but based on the results, the bait has already earned his confidence.

Next up, the next generation putting it into practice.

Winton and Jazzely out on the bank, keeping it simple and letting the bait do the work.

Fish coming on the Seafood Cocktail, and takes on Fruit Crush pop-ups, including one soaked in SLR liquid. Different approaches, same confidence.

The highlight. Jazzely landing his very first ever carp at 7.3kg, caught on the SLR Range boilies.

That’s what it’s about. Learning early, building confidence, and doing it the right way.

A midweek session with his dad at Carplakes Metz turned into one to remember.
Arno started the trip with a 7kg common. A steady opener that built confidence. The next morning everything changed. A mirror hit the net at 14.2kg, giving him a new PB early in the session.

The days that followed brought more fish and valuable experience. Time on the bank, learning, observing, and building that instinct that only comes with hours by the water. Fishing with the SLR Range boilies, he stayed consistent and trusted his approach.
On the final evening it all came together again. A 17kg common hit the net and once more his PB was broken.

Two personal bests in one week.

This is what it’s about. Not just the fish, but passing it on. Time spent together, building confidence, learning the process, and seeing it pay off. The next generation doing it the right way, with patience, understanding, and belief in what they are doing.
