Today marks the departure of this stunning Trintella 42, built in 1988 at the Dutch shipyard Anne Wever. She was constructed to high-quality standards and provided a solid foundation for a thorough refit, executed down to the last detail by Doomernik Yachts.
Our work included removing all screws from the teak deck and injecting all holes with epoxy, removing all caulking, cutting out the teak grooves to 7 mm, applying new caulking, sanding all gelcoat surfaces from P400 to P1200 grit, and polishing them. Additionally, we replaced all red stripes with classic, stylish dark blue lines. Below the waterline, the vessel was treated with additional epoxy coatings and new antifouling. The mast received a fresh layer of white paint and all shrouds, ropes and halyards were renewed. The old deck gear was replaced with new Harken fittings for super smooth handling. To complete the refit, the Trintella 42 was equipped with new Elvstrōm sails and new covers.
This beauty leaves our facilities in Aalst in ‘as-new’ condition, having benefited from the full care and attention to detail of the Doomernik team.
