Blocks in the barn is back! For this combo, we’ve got a classic barre exercise: the diamond. This block combo is done sans barre for a killer balance challenge, with one block under the heels & the other block in the hands…

1️⃣ slow down, slow up onto the 💎
2️⃣ hold it down for pulses in the 💎
3️⃣ hold the 💎, pass the block in a circle from 1 hand to the other
4️⃣ static hold or some more pulses in the 💎

Save this one to try at the barre, in your living room, or at the park… the barre under the heels helps you stabilize and go deeper into your diamond, the block in the hands helps to challenge your balance more.

Babes, the block series is ongoing! This time poolside… & involving a blend of balance with ballet inspiration. The block makes the balance that extra bit tougher.

For today’s inspo:
1️⃣ Standing side crunches
2️⃣ balancing repeated coupes
3️⃣ balancing repeated passés
4️⃣ rear leg extension
5️⃣ bend & stretch the lifted leg

Not only are you going to feel this massively in the glutes.. but the standing calf & foot will absolutely get stronger 🔥

👯‍♀️ make this combo lighter by using 1 or both hands on the barre for balance assistance!

This will be a multi part inspo series with short little clips demonstrating some of my all time fav block combos.

For today’s inspo: table top series with offset blocks under the opposite knee & hand.
1️⃣ arm & leg lift & lowers
2️⃣ arm/leg crunch & extensions
3️⃣ balancing bent knee pulses

Save this combo to try out with the 2 blocks to feel the extra challenge! 😅

I’m feeling super 1) grateful and 2) proud after training this fabulous group of new barre-istas last weekend!

It was so cool to experience their love of barre expand throughout the weekend while we worked on alignment, understanding muscle activation in barre exercises, how to use music to bring energy, and how to coach with class ✨ I can’t wait to see what these Barre TT grads will do next!
