In addition: During the sportsrights free week we’re hosting an open training on Tuesday Feb 10th, 18:00–19:30. Get outside, swing through the trees, and see how you like training like a squirrel 🌰🌿

🐿️ WOEST INTRO WEEKEND 🐿️
The weekend kicked off with learning some awesome archery techniques, especially for during a run! After that, we left our trusty oak tree to conquer distant lands by boat. It all began with a relaxing kayak tour, which soon turned into a heated kayak polo competition (as you can see in the pictures 😉).

We wrapped up the day with a delicious BBQ and a dropping!!!! The next morning, we woke up early (well… at least some of us did 🤨) and took part in a survival run clinic to finish the weekend strong.

Have you always wanted to climb high bars, run through fun and challenging obstacles (sometimes even do some kayaking, archery and MTB), come and take a look at Wageningen Outdoor En Survivalrun Team!! 🤩🙂‍↕️

During the AID you can come and find us at the Campus Games on Friday 15 August. We’ll be positioned close to the Atlas building. On Sunday you can find us at the sportsmarket at the Bongerd, and we’ll be giving survivalrun clinics at our track! Last but not least we will be at Belmonte Arboretum on Tuesday the 19th during the infomarket. Hope to see you there! 🐿️ 3, 2, 1, WOESTTTTTT 🫶🏽

A few weeks ago some squirrels (and their supporters) traveled to Zwolle to enjoy the 😎

It was a beautiful day to run, the sun was shining, it wasn’t that cold (except if you decided to take a dive 😦), and you could enjoy the warm pool? afterwards. Some squirrels 🐿️ tried their first individual run, which was a very fun experience!

On the 8th of December some new and old squirrels 🐿️ joined the survivalrun in Enschede, running the 6 km and the 9 km.

For some of the (new) squirrels was this their first official run. And they were very excited to try out all the new obstacles! Of course they got some good coaching from the older squirrels. It was an amazing day, filled with excitement and for some a “dip” in the water?? 💧

Last weekend WOEST members battled other students at the survivalrun in Utrecht! This year the National Student Championships (NSK) were hosted in Utrecht, which 20 woestelingen participated in. After a few wet feet and a lot of smiles, it was a sucessful run!

Last week WOEST took on Bathmen survivalrun at ! Through the wind and the swamps, WOESTelingen trekked through the parcours to finish the ONK LSR and recreational 9km categories. Luckily the sunshine came out and dried off our muddy tails to make it a lovely day
