Thenuk “The Warrior” from Sri Lanka stepped onto the mats today with calm focus and real fighting spirit — and walked away with a bronze medal in the No-Gi Adult (18+) / White Belt / Middleweight division (up to 86.2 kg) at the 2025 AGF Amsterdam Open.

This young lion has been grinding quietly, learning fast, and showing the discipline that defines our team. Every round he fought with heart, pressure, and courage — the kind you can’t teach, only develop.

🔥 Emil the Armenian Warrior 🔥

Our very own Emil from Lion’s Den Leiden showed once again what true fighting spirit looks like 💪
At the Grapple City Rotterdam tournament, he took home the bronze medal (3rd place) in the -85kg white belt division 🥉

He fought hard, entertained the crowd, and secured two wins by submission —
a clean armbar and a slick guillotine choke 🦁

Every tournament he keeps growing as a fighter and as a person.

Big congratulations to Hans on earning his purple belt! 🟣💪

Hans has been training with us for many years — always loyal to the gym, supportive to his teammates, competing in tournaments and bringing home medals. He often puts in extra work at BJJ Delft, constantly looking to grow as both an athlete and a person.

Beyond the hard work, Hans is also the guy who brings a great vibe to every session — always fun to be around and someone you can count on for a laugh.
