Our first homemade AI breeding season at home is complete – and what can I say? 4 out of 4 mares are pregnant on the first attempt with transported semen (cooled semen)! 🤯😍

Can somebody please pinch me?

We honestly can’t believe it ourselves and are incredibly happy. If it could keep going like this for the next few years, we’d be more than happy! 💪🍀

And yes, we know there are years when things don’t go so smoothly. This year I had two rebreeds, semen from Inferno who didn’t exactly have the best results last year, and one mare that would colic every time she left home.

The idea of doing the inseminations ourselves had been there for a long time, but that mare was the final push to just give it a try. How hard could it be, right? 🤪

I have to admit, scanning with the ultrasound cost me a few nerves, but you always knew what you were working toward. And hard work apparently pays off! 💪🍀

We’re proud to present:

✨ Shiners Boogie Whiz, the mare that inspired us to give this a try, is in foal to Inferno 66 on the very first attempt 😅🤷🏻‍♀️

✨ And because things were going so well with Inferno 66, we decided to breed our Wimpy to him as well:

With both a heavy heart and a joyful smile, we say farewell to Gallo Del Spook.

Bred and trained with our own hands, he captured hearts from the very first shows and went on to begin an unbelievably successful professional career.
Knowing that he will continue to shine on in the spotlight fills us with pride and deep happiness.

QT you won your very first big show with us — and your last one for us, too!

We are thankful for 4 c**ts and 1 filly this year 🍀🥰

This breeding season has two endings and we are really sad to say that our friends from Paardencentrum De Heidehoogte Hellen and Eddy stop with the breeding care. The last 8 years we built a very nice friendship and our Mares were always in the best hands. during this period I never had to worry! Thank you so much for all you did! We will miss you but we wish u all the best for the future!

The second ending is that our beloved mare Chock o Latte (22) gave birth to her last foal 🥰 by the way i did it myself for the first time and our wish came true a super beautiful filly with princess eyes 😍
She deserves now wonderful years in the pasture here with our broodmare band. Thank you Choco you are the best 🥰 I will make a post with all your babys for us🥰
