Optimus Prime staat in Rotterdam. Stern Pinball vloog ons de TRANSFORMERS: More Than Meets the Eye toe. Bij het Dutch Pinball Museum staat vanaf nu een van de eerste exemplaren in Europa. Gewoon te bespelen, zonder muntje, zoals alles bij ons.
Deze kast gaat niet over de Michael Bay-films, maar over de originele Generation 1 uit 1984. De missies zijn gebouwd rond afleveringen uit de tekenfilmserie, met echte beelden op het scherm. Optimus Prime klinkt als Peter Cullen, Megatron en Soundwave als Frank Welker. Precies zoals veertig jaar geleden.
En omdat The Transformers: The Movie veertig jaar bestaat, zit er een aparte mode in met "The Touch" van Stan Bush.
Wij hebben de Pro-editie. Drie flippers, zes ballen, en een speelveld dat in tweeën is gedeeld: Autobots links, Decepticons rechts.

Optimus Prime has landed in Rotterdam. Stern Pinball flew in TRANSFORMERS: More Than Meets the Eye for us. The Dutch Pinball Museum now has one of the first machines in Europe. Free play, no coins, just like everything else here.
This one skips the Michael Bay films and goes straight back to Generation 1 from 1984. Missions are built around episodes from the cartoon series, with original footage on the screen. Optimus Prime is voiced by Peter Cullen, Megatron and Soundwave by Frank Welker. Exactly like forty years ago.
And since The Transformers: The Movie turns forty, there is a dedicated mode built around "The Touch" by Stan Bush.
Ours is the Pro model. Three flippers, six balls, and a playfield split down the middle: Autobots on the left, Decepticons on the right.
