We are looking for the 14th board of DanceNation💜
You may have seen all the instagram takeovers of the board during the past week!
From today on applications are open and you can apply for your favourite board position!🤩
You may wonder ‘Am I good enough’?
- Yes! The old board will provide you with all relevant information and will also continue being there for you during your board year.
- Most positions and tasks do not require specific prior knowledge and you can learn them as you go.
- That means it is important that you have a general interest or talent for your position but you do not have to be an expert, been in a committee before or study something related.
- It is helpful though if you have been in the association for a bit, joined activities, are part of a demo team or a committee, etc…
- Every position has different tasks and you can always have a talk directly with the current board member(s) in the position(s) you are interested in.
- The positions in the board are very versatile and so for almost every personality or skill set there is something that fits well.
- A very relevant aspect is also that you are good at working in a team, that you have time and the will to attend the weekly meetings and activities, and that you are approachable for DanceNation members.
In the following week, we will go more in depth of each position, stay tuned and do not hesitate to ask questions!

If you think that being in the board might be too much for this year, many of the advantages mentioned above also apply to the committees but require less time and responsibility and can prepare you for a board year if you consider that for a later time.
