At the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold in Liévin, our talents delivered another series of high-level performances. Eliott Crestan won the 800m in 1:43.91, setting a new national record. Tshepo Tsh*te placed fifth in the 3000m with 7:36.90, also a national record, while Jochem Vermeulen ran a personal best of 3:33.71 to finish fifth in the 1500m. Nigist Getachew clocked an indoor PB of 1:59.54 for fourth in the 800m.
Solid performances also came from Worknesh Mesele (4:06.91 SB, 1500m), Léna Kandissounon (2:01.65, 800m), Reynold Kipkorir Cheruiyot (3:42.27, 1500m), Noelie Yarigo (2:07.37, 800m), Sh*to Gumi (8:44.96, 3000m), Birtukan Molla (8:44.52, 3000m), Nicholas Kiplangat Kebenei (800m), and Mounir Akbache pacing the 3000m.
Multiple national records, personal bests and season’s bests on one of the fastest indoor tracks in the world underline the team’s strong momentum this season.
